WIZIGO Privacy Policy

The WIZIGO mobile application (hereinafter the "Application") and the internet platform myWizigo.com (hereinafter the "Platform") are published by GoSense, a simplified joint stock company with a capital of 84,790 euros registered with the RCS of LYON, under number 809 194 574, whose registered office is located at 4 quai Arloing - 69009 LYON (France) (hereinafter the "Publisher"). They are intended for visually impaired individuals to enable them to move around in public places thanks to a sound GPS system, excluding any professional use (hereinafter the "Service"). This GPS works through a shared information system through which visually impaired users or not (hereinafter the "Users"), inform, share and mark in real time the state of streets, parks, paths and more generally routes.

In the course of using this Service, the User is required to transmit personal data concerning him/her.

Your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal data are of the utmost importance to us. This privacy policy has been created in compliance with the laws, regulations and standards in force.

1.    Collection of personal data:

The personal data that is collected via the Application and the Platform is as follows:

·       Account opening: When creating an account, the User must provide a username and a password.

·       Profile: the use of the Services via the Application or the Platform allows you to fill in a profile, which may include a photograph, a surname, a first name, an address, an email and a telephone number.

·       Location Data: When using the Application, the Application uses the phone's geolocation system and analyzes the phone's movements to determine the user's location.

2.    Use of personal data.

The personal data collected from Users is used to provide and improve the Services and to maintain a secure environment. Specifically, the uses are as follows:

·       Access to and use of the Application and the Platform by the User,

·       Management of the operation and optimization of the Application and the Platform,

·       Geolocation and trip information on the Platform and the Application,

·       Verification, identification and authentication of the data transmitted by the User,

·       Management of possible disputes with Users,

·       Realization of an after-sales service, return of User's impression for improvement of the Service, when the User has previously given his consent by expressly accepting this device.

·       Automated profiling of Users in order to carry out market research to improve the management of the Application or the Platform.

3.    Sharing personal data with third parties:

When using Apple and Google APIs, geolocation data (coordinates sent and IP address) may be stored by Apple and Google. For more information, please consult their privacy policy.

Other personal data may be shared with third party companies in the following cases:

-        Where required by law, the Publisher may transmit data to pursue claims against the Application or the Platform, and to comply with administrative and judicial proceedings,

-        When the Publisher is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or receivership, it may be required to sell or share all or part of its assets, including personal data. In such a case, Users will be notified before any personal data is transferred to a third party.

In addition, the Publisher may transmit the personal data provided by the Users for the Application and the Platform to third parties for the sale of market research as long as they are anonymized.

4.    Shelf life

Personal data is kept only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above or to enable us to meet our legal obligations.

Personal data used for commercial prospecting purposes may be kept for a maximum period of three (3) years from the end of the commercial relationship.

5.    No transfer of personal data abroad (outside the EU) :

The processed data are hosted in France or in the European Economic Area. In any case, the Publisher undertakes to respect the legal provisions concerning the transfer of personal data abroad and in particular any "Private Shield" policy, and undertakes in this respect to inform the User.

6.    Security and privacy:

The Editor implements organizational, technical, software and physical measures in terms of digital security to protect personal data against alteration, destruction and unauthorized access. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment, neither the Application nor the Platform can guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information on the Internet.

The respect of the security and the protection of your data is imposed on all our collaborators as well as on our service providers.

7.    Enforcement of User Rights:

In accordance with the regulations applicable to personal data, Users have the following rights:

-        They can update or delete their data by logging into their account and configuring their account settings;

-        They can delete their account, by writing to the following email address contact@gosense.com or directly from the web interface www.mywizigo.com. It should be noted that information shared with other Users, such as posts in comments, may remain publicly visible on the Application and the Platform, even after their account has been deleted,

-        They can exercise their right of access to know the personal data concerning them, by writing to the e-mail address contact@gosense.com. In this case, before implementing this right, the Publisher may ask for proof of the User's identity in order to verify its accuracy,

-        If the personal data held by the Publisher is inaccurate, they may request that the information be updated by writing to the e-mail address support@mywizigo.com.

-        Users may request the deletion of their personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, by writing to the email address contact@gosense.com.

8.    Evolution of the Personal Data Protection Policy :

The Publisher reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. If a change is made to this Privacy Policy, the Publisher will post the new version on its Application and Platform. The Publisher will also inform the Users of the change by email, at least thirty (30) days before the effective date. If the User does not agree with the terms of the new version of the Privacy Policy, he has the possibility to delete his account.
